Rendiconti del Seminario Matematico della Università di Padova

A request to authors of papers published in the Rendiconti

For the convenience of the mathematical community, we asked NUMDAM to digitalize the issues of our Journal up to volume 106 (2001), making them available on an open access basis on their web site (www.numdam.org). For papers in later issues, we are planning to make their electronic version available, either on NUMDAM's or our own web site, under the principle of a moving wall (access restricted to subscribers for a five-year time period, and open access for older papers).

Since we were unable to contact each single author, we wish to request that any author of a paper published in the Rendiconti who

  • has not transferred his/her copyright of the paper(s) to our Editorial Board
  • and

  • does not want to make the electronic version of his/her paper(s) accessible
  • inform us by letter by the end of June, 2008.

We also request authors to make contact with us even after the deadline, should they find it inappropriate to put their paper(s) on the above websites. We will act in accordance with the author's instructions after examining the situation.

We hope that the authors understand the benefit of making the papers accessible on websites and will cooperate with us.
